Hi there! I’m Nate.

I was raised in The Village of Cadott in Wisconsin, which is located “Half Way between the Equator and the North Pole.” I spent most of my weekends as a farmhand at my uncle’s dairy farm where I learned a love for animals. I became a veterinary technician in 2005, studying at Horizon School of Veterinary Assisting, and have 18 years of direct clinical experience.

I relocated to Charleston, South Carolina six years ago to assist animal patients and human family members when pets are ill or injured. And, I saw a broad need for pet loss grief support services in the Tri-county region.

So, I decided to further my education, skills, and experience to become a certified Pet Loss Grief Specialist with the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement.
